Introducing the New CSH Quality Supportive Housing Standards

    Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH)

    Year: 2025

We are pleased to introduce the new CSH Quality Supportive Housing Standards. This year, CSH has been working hard to revise the CSH Quality Standards and provide a new set of resources to help the field meet this moment. The new standards and resources build upon our original standards that were developed with input from tenants and providers across the country. The new CSH Quality Standards provides a clear framework for the field on building and operating effective supportive housing that keeps people stably housed.

    What’s New?

The CSH Quality Supportive Housing Standards are now streamlined into four core program-level standards, designed to be practical and adaptable across various supportive housing models and communities.

The language has been refreshed to ensure relevance for programs of all kinds.

A Pre-Development Quality Checklist has been developed that explains how to align a project with the CSH Quality Standards when planning a new development.

Essential outcomes have been identified for every supportive housing program to target.

The self-directed survey tools have been updated to help providers evaluate quality when planning and operating supportive housing.
