Claudia is a Master of Public Policy candidate at USC Price who is passionate about social justice and equity. Born, raised, and radicalized in the San Francisco Bay Area, she hopes to build a career eradicating systemic discrimination through policy change. Following her graduation from the University of California, Santa Cruz where she obtained a B.A. in Politics and French and Francophone Studies, Claudia spent two years in France teaching English to middle and high school students. Now back in California, in addition to working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Homelessness Policy Research Institute, she is the Policy Deputy for Santa Monica City Councilmember Torosis. Claudia also holds leadership positions in several USC student organizations, including her role as the Co-President of Mentorship for an Accessible Price and the Professional Development Chair of the Graduate Policy and Administration Community. Her other interests include traveling, learning languages, writing music, hiking, hammocking, and literally every dog she has ever met.
