Maanya is a current Master of Public Policy pursuing the data science certification. She completed her Bachelors in International Relations with a Spanish minor and is specifically interested in solving the complexities of the housing crises across different contexts of the Global South. She is passionate about sustainable urban development, climate resilience and social justice. She has also worked for direct-action non-profits like Strategic Actions for a Just Economy and IRC, focusing on displacement avoidance alongside transit equity, climate change and the built environment. Most recently she examined the impacts of transit inequity in LA and its implications in South LA as we prepare to host 3 rapidly approaching mega-sporting events. Outside of school she loves exploring the outdoors, live music, and running.
