HPRI convenes and engages policy makers, researchers, people with lived experience and culturally specific organizations to support research to help end homelessness.

Committees and Working Groups

HPRI regularly convenes a number of committees and working groups, including a monthly research committee meeting, where researchers convene to discuss scholarship on homelessness in Los Angeles County, as well as identify opportunities for collaboration. Other committees include the HPRI Race Equity Working Group, the HPRI Communications Working Group, and the Data Infrastructure Working Group

HPRI hosts quarterly research symposia, designed to bring together policymakers and researchers to share current research findings pertaining to homelessness in Los Angeles County.
