For over a decade, the Family Homelessness Initiative (FHI) has been working to reduce and prevent homelessness among families with children in King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties, by improving the coordination, efficiency, and effectiveness of the county crisis response systems. In February 2021, we marked the accomplishments of our partners with a virtual convening event entitled “A Decade of Innovation: Lessons from the Puget Sound Family Homelessness Initiative.” We are eager to share these findings and lessons learned with service providers, funders, elected officials, and policymakers from across the state and nation to inform decisions about housing and homelessness.
