    This is our sixth annual report on mortality rates and causes of death among people experiencing homelessness (PEH) in LA County. Using available data from the LA County Office of the Medical Examiner, the California Department of Public Health, the Los
    Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA), and Hedderson Demographics, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (DPH) has been monitoring annual trends in mortality rates and causes of death among PEH since 2019.
