    The State of Rapid Re-Housing Programs in Sacramento

    • Rapid Re-Housing programs are a critical component of Sacramento’s strategy to combat homelessness, moving more people experiencing homelessness off of the streets permanently than other programs. In 2017 and 2018 they helped 1174 people get into stable housing.|

    • In the last 4 years, the percent of clients served by Sacramento Rapid Re-Housing programs who successfully find stable housing has fallen by almost half.

    • The study estimates that if Sacramento RRH programs employed corrective strategies recommended by the National Alliance to End Homelessness almost 250 additional households could be stably housed each year.
