Gather and Translate Research

Rapid Response

HPRI conducts rapid-response policy research focused on a wide range of topics relevant to ending homelessness in Los Angeles County. Examples have included an analysis of strategies to reduce visible homelessness; an analysis of safe parking programs across Southern California; and an analysis on a prospective “right to housing” initiative. To request support on rapid-response research, please contact Nick Weinmeister, Project Specialist, at weinmeis@usc.edu.

Research Translation

HPRI produces literature reviews, policy briefs, and memos to translate homelessness research into timely policy action. Read select publications below, and visit the HPRI research catalogue for all translational publications.
